brave I am so that she will look in the mirror with

positive conviction, and know that the same is true for her.

There are people and places and projects out there that are waiting on you to show up.

I also believe, if you have something to offer the world that could wreck it in an amazing way, the toxic forces of this life will do everything they can to keep you quiet, held back, in a position to believe you cannot create.

Because if your gift is never shared with the world, if those people aren’t helped or inspired well, the world can’t go on to plant more seeds and grow and create beautiful, whatever it is that you make, and that would make the negative forces happy.

Yet, for the rest of the world if you never show up, things will die, books won’t be written, relationships never founded, magic will not be created and that, will be a tragedy.

So please friends, start a “Do list” for yourself, Do create, Do share, Do empower others! We are all just searching for the ones out there who will cheer us along in our vulnerability to show up everyday and be better versions of ourselves.

The Latest✨

1. We’ve landed! Friends, if you know our story, you know this is a BIG deal. We have been tumbleweeds ever since leaving the military, and after a long ten months of renting when my husband accepted his dream job in STL, we are finally in what could very well be our forever home! I think you’ll understand from the photo above why I’m utterly obsessed with the reading room!
2. Our first child (and my baby boy, forever) starts kindergarten in 7 weeks…I am not okay, but I am over the moon excited for this new journey for him and he is ecstatic to meet new friends, and teachers! [*If you’ve been here and have any words of encouragement for a sobbing mum, send them my way!*]
3. Florida 🏖️ , Here we come! In less than a week we will be on a plane to white, sandy beaches…or at least that is what I hear! Florida has been on our list for a long time, and with paint work being done on our new home, it was the perfect time!
4. Lastly, certainly not least…I finished my Masters degree of Arts in Sociology with ASU in early May… 😮…I cannot believe I made it through..but here we are and I loved the process tremendously! ….and also, if you know me, you know I am not a fan of sitting still.. 🫣 and that’s why I applied for a Masters certificate program in Gifted Education and will start that in the spring! 🫶🏻✨

I believe with all of my heart, that home is created where ever we gather, and where ever we gather, we will always be home.
